INDUSTRIAL TRAINING PROGRAMME
Industrial Training placements are programmes that allow students to gain practical (hands-on) work Experience and academic credit at the same time. These are supervised programmes of work and study which involve students working in hospitality, restaurant, travel-tourism, hotel settings applying skills and knowledge obtained in the course of their studies.
An internship is considered a para-professional or pre-professional experience which gives the student an opportunity to apply knowledge from the classroom in an employment setting consistent with the students’ choice of hospitality career field. Internships unpaid, but the students gain valuable work experience and the opportunity to see and be seen by possible future employers. Internship placements are usually for periods of 6 months and it is compulsory for the students to go on internship as required from time to time during their course. At the time of Industrial training given 3 time Food , Accommodation, Uniform and salary.
